SHeesh, the cold weather is rolling in like crazy here in CHicago. Irritable bowel problems aside, I can’t get used to this bone chilling freeze. We never had this issue back in the old country. (you may remember I talk about my friend who needed a Chicago immigration attorney).
Back in the day, we just put on a sweater and long jeans and went out to meet the girls. But here, this wind will knock you right down. In fact, we were going to head out to the Chicago Rock Cafe but just couldn’t take the wind and cold.
On top of all this, the rain just won’t stop. Now I understand the importance of rain in the fall time, but this is ridiculous.
Some of you must think I am just bitching, and maybe I am, but I need to retire down south quick!

I don’t talk about it much, but I have big time problems with Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS). I used to be really embarassed about it and would never talk about my IBS irritable bowel. Over the years, I have learned to cope with it and figure out what triggers the worst attacks.
For me, my IBS gets worse when I eat acidic foods. For example, if I eat pizza, I know my IBS is going to act up. It seems wierd, but the things that give people heartburn are the same things that give me irritable bowel attacks.
I wish I could say I knew of some good IBS cures, but I just don’t. I have had to learn what makes it bad and what just makes it bareable. I have found that during times of high stress, my IBS really flairs up no matter what I eat.
I hope if you are coping and living with Irritable Bowel SYndrome that you are able to find a cure for it and will let me know what you did!

I have a good friend from the old country who is wanting to become a citizen. He needs a good immigration attorney because that is not such an easy task these days. He lives on the Southside of Chicago and there are a lot of Chicago immigration lawyers out there.

Today I played softball with friends from work. I just love playing as I am older now and it brings back my childhood to my mind. I’ve always enjoyed both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
My favority position in the field is 1st base. I know that is normally a lefty position, and I am a righty, but I have always been good at scooping up short hops. THe only issue I have with playing first base is that I am rather short, only 5′6″ and have trouble catching high throws from the stretch.
My second favorite position in the field is left field. I am very good at catching fly balls and do very well covering the field. I can run pretty fast and I can also dive when needed. I especially like running into the gap and cutting off line drives.
Speaking of line drives, on the offensive side of the ball, I really enjoy hitting in slow pitch softbal games. I have actually never hit a home run over the fence, but I have had many inside the parkers. I am 33 yrs old but can really run fast when needed.
I am also best at hitting line drives up the gut (that’s up the middle for those of you who are not softball or baseball players). I love the feeling of drilling a liner up the middle and seeing it seer across the field.
The game we played today was a close one. It was my office against the other office on the other side of town. I had a great game at first base and made many good scoops as usual. On top of that, I sent 4 for 4 with 5 RBIs. I had 4 singles, but no extra base hits.
The biggest issue I had was that my IBS irritable bowel was acting up all day, making some of the time a little miserable for me.
I sure hope you readers can enjoy some good baseball or softball this year before winter strikes. The winter really looks like it may be a tough one.
Next I will write about a great day out golfing! I just got some new clubs and think I will improve my game greatly with them. I hope you will agree with me.

I told you before that I have some issues with IBS irritable bowel syndrome. I found out some really good information today from a buddy of mine. Like stress, your diet does not bring on IBS. Although many people think that they have caused this condition by eating less than healthy foods, that is not the case. Yet, it is well known that foods can contribute to making irritable bowel syndrome worse.
The problem with food is double. First, your body may react to some foods in a more intense way with IBS than others would react to that food. In addition, the body experiences increased levels of intestinal muscle reaction and sensitivity with IBS than otherwise. Just the fact that you are eating can make the symptoms of IBS show themselves. It may not even be a specific food that is causing it, but a general overreaction to food.
The Issue With Foods and IBS Problems
The first thing to work on is the simple fact that you can control what you eat. In that, you can have some control over how your body reacts with IBS symptoms. Some of the foods that we know are problematic for those with IBS include foods like fried foods, alcohol, caffeine and foods that are high in fat. In addition to this, when too much food is consumed at one sitting, problems can also arise.
Diarrhea and cramping in your abdomen can be caused by some specific types of sugars that are unable to be fully digested by the bowel. These include sorbitol which is a sweetener in dietetic foods, gum sugars, candy sugars, and fructose. The consumption of these sugars will lead to the inability of the bowel to absorb them correctly and will lead to diarrhea.
The gas symptoms of IBS can be brought on by some foods as well. For example, beans, legumes, cauliflower, lentils, Brussels sprouts, onions, bagels, cabbage and broccoli all can bring on more intense gas like symptoms of IBS. Eating these types of foods can bring on the symptoms of IBS including bloating and increased gas.
With these foods being behind the onset of symptoms of IBS, it is important for you to consider how they affect you. It is essential for you to understand that foods affect each person in a different way. What affects you and causes intense symptoms of IBS is not the same and doesn’t have the same effect on another person with IBS symptoms. For that reason, it is critical that you find out how foods affect you.

I just don’t know what to do. I love my wife, but sometimes she just kicks me in the heart. You see, she gets a little onto me when I drink too much at parties.
So last night we went to a party and I did not drink at all. But she still got mad at me because we went. I don’t get this. I guess that the drinking was not the problem. The issue was with the party in and of itself.
I think maybe we should be stay inside from now on and watch movies becuase anytime we get mixed with other people, she flips out on me big time. Crazy stuff.
They, when we got home, she wanted to stay up a little longer but I was tired. SO I sent to bed and I got in trouble for that because I should have stayed up with her when she wanted to. But that means that she is in control totally.
I mean, can’t I go to bed when I get tired? It isn’t like I drank too much and passed out or anything. I just went to bed man.

I am not picky about mattresses. My wife, on the other hand, has to have a mattress with the perfect firmness and all that stuff. But me, I am more concerned with the sheets and comforter.
Afterall, it is called a “comforter” for a reason! We just a got a new one with a high thread counts and stuffed with goose feathers. It has such a warm-hug feeling when you get in underneath it. It really keeps your warm too.
My wife preferes a heating blanket and I do not. I like that first chilly feeling you get when you get into a crispy chilled bed (we live in the North of the land where it gets cold)
So go out this weekend and see if you can find that crispy, huggy comforter too. Your sleeping counting sheep will thank you!
